Outdoor Adventure for Rushton and Blackshaw Moor

At the Talentum Learning Trust, we believe in providing our pupils with enriching educational experiences that go beyond the classroom. This is why we are thrilled to share the recent outdoor adventure undertaken by the pupils of Rushton First School and Blackshaw Moor First School.

A Memorable Residential Visit

Earlier this month, the Year 4 pupils from Rushton First School and Blackshaw Moor First School embarked on a two-night residential trip to the Standon Bowers Outdoor Education Centre.

Challenging Activities, Lasting Memories

During their stay, the pupils had the opportunity to participate in a variety of thrilling outdoor activities, including caving, climbing, archery, and team-building exercises. These challenges not only tested their physical abilities but also fostered their sense of aspiration and resilience as they pushed themselves to new heights.

The staff at Rushton and Blackshaw Moor, Mrs. Cockersole, Miss Ball, Mrs. Worrall, Mrs. Corden, and Miss Grindey, were incredibly proud of the way pupils conducted themselves throughout the trip. They demonstrated compassion and integrity by supporting one another,  truly letting their light shine.

Building a Stronger Community

These shared experiences have not only enriched the lives of the individual pupils but have also strengthened the bond between the two schools. By working together and creating these meaningful connections, we are upholding our commitment to community and our vision of building together to provide the best possible education for all our learners.

Celebrating Our Learners

At the Talentum Learning Trust, we are dedicated to nurturing the growth and development of every child in our care. The outdoor adventure undertaken by the pupils of Rushton First School and Blackshaw Moor First School is a testament to our unwavering commitment to excellence for all. We are thrilled to see our learners thriving and creating lasting memories that will undoubtedly inspire them to continue believing in themselves, succeeding in life, and aspiring to be all that they can be.
