The Talentum Learning Trust

Lunchtime Visitors at Leek High School

At Leek High School, part of the Talentum Learning Trust, they are dedicated to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment where their pupils can thrive. Their ethos and commitment to compassion are evident in the enriching experiences they provide for their school community.

One such example is their lunchtime visitors, Hobnob and Biscuit, who joined the pupils at Leek High School's Learning Space for a calm and quiet time. As part of our vision to build a place where everyone flourishes, they believe in fostering opportunities for pupils to connect with the world around them and find moments of respite during the school day.

The pupils were delighted to welcome Hobnob and Biscuit, who eagerly enjoyed the cucumber and apple treats provided. The presence of these friendly visitors allowed our pupils to take a break from their studies, engage in playful interactions, and find comfort in the companionship of these beloved animals.

This lunchtime activity aligns with our core values of compassion and excellence for all. By providing our pupils with the chance to interact with these therapy animals, the school aims to support their emotional well-being and create a nurturing environment where they can thrive. This experience also reflects their commitment to building strong connections within the school community, as pupils and staff came together to welcome and care for the four-legged guests.

Through initiatives like our lunchtime visitors, the school strives to fulfil their mission of empowering our learners to believe in themselves, succeed in life, and aspire to be all that they can be. By cultivating a sense of joy, wonder, and compassion, they hope to inspire pupils to embrace their unique talents and reach their full potential.
